Activision Blizzard has officially confirmed that it will begin bringing its games to Xbox Game Pass next year. It has been two years since gamers learned about the deal between Activision Blizzard and Microsoft. Months after the deal, Microsoft expects to close its $69 billion acquisition with the Call of Duty publisher next week. Earlier, Microsoft mentioned that it plans to offer as many Activision Blizzard titles as possible to Xbox and the PC Game Pass. However, this won't happen right away. The publisher expects to take things slowly as the deal progresses.

Call of Duty and Other Activision Blizzard Titles To Come to Xbox Game Pass in 2024
On Monday, the Call of Duty publisher discussed their timeline for introducing their titles to the Xbox Game Pass. In the statement, they mentioned that they are working on the regulatory approval of the Microsoft deal. They are also dealing with questions like if the upcoming and the recently launched titles will be available on the Game Pass.
While most fans are looking forward to getting their hands on every new Activision Blizzard launch via Game Pass, the impending arrival of the titles is still in question due to various hurdles both corporations are facing as the official acquisition closing draws nearer.
Will The Upcoming Call of Duty Modern Warfare III be a Part of the Game Pass?
In the same statement, the publisher also mentioned that they do not have plans to put Modern Warfare III or Diablo IV onto the Game Pass this year after the deal closes. However, they expect to begin work with Xbox as they bring their titles to more players across the globe. They also mentioned that they anticipate adding games to the Game Pass sometime next year. While newer titles like Diablo IV and Modern Warfare III may take longer to make it to the Xbox Game Pass, fans can still expect other popular Activision titles in the library once the services begin in 2024.
