Every year, Apple releases newer models of the iPhone, and each iteration showcases the highlighting feature of the devices, like the "Shot on iPhone" campaign with the iPhone 14 series. Similarly, Apple was serious about mobile gaming this year's Wanderlust Event and went all in their graphic department. For the iPhone 15 Pro series, Apple claimed that the iPhone 15 Pro will change mobile gaming forever.
With the help of Apple's latest A17 Pro chipset, the iPhone 15 Pro series can run triple-A games like Resident Evil 4 Remake, Assassin's Creed Mirage and Death Stranding. It will be the first time the console version of Assassin's Creed will be natively available on a smartphone. The newest chipset has 6 CPU and 6 GPU cores, offering hardware-accelerated raytracing on these heavy titles. The GPU runs on the Apple-designed shader architecture.
Moreover, the iPhone 15 Pro will also support present-day controllers like the PlayStation 5 DualSense. The iPhone 15 Pro features games like Honkai Star Rail, Genshin Impact, and The Divison Resurgence. Apple has yet to reveal the release dates for these games, but fans can expect the games to be out either later this year or a few months into 2024.
