The Full Synchronization Challenge is one of the more recent updates added to the game, which brought a permadeath mode to the game, and it was greatly appreciated by the fans. Assassin's Creed Mirage AMA on Reddit Teased Various Features and Plans for the Title
Much like any AMA (ask me anything) session, the Assassin's Creed Mirage developers began their quest on Reddit by asking fans for their ideas on improvements for the latest mainline entry in the franchise. A question that sparked a lot of attention within the AMA session was from a user named u/DonotLookUp1 on Reddit, who asked if the developers were interested in developing any more old-school Assassin's Creed games after Mirage if they had the opportunity, or shifting towards a new IP. To this, the developers answered:
"We work in the dark to serve the light."
The famous quote from the Assassin's Brotherhood was more than just a simple reply, as many in the subreddit suggested that the developers may be inclining towards more old-school Assassin's Creed games in the future, which is a good turn for the franchise.
The same answer from the developers also opened more doors for hope, as the developers may also work on a "new IP" which may be similar to Assassin's Creed features of stealth and combat. The Assassin's Creed Mirage AMA session also introduced a fan's idea for a Photomode. While the feature is not currently present in the game, it has been a part of many recent AAA titles. While answering the question, the developers ensured that they would be working on the project and include it in Mirage as a feature soon. Moreover, more answers from the developers mentioned the feature where gamers can make their own challenges and more in Mirage.
As for the future of Basim, the character will probably not be getting another solo game or his own DLC. However, Ubisoft has mentioned that they will try to include him in future stories for the franchise, similar to how he was a part of Eivor's story in Valhalla.
