European esports organization, Astralis is reportedly in talks to sell their LEC spot. This is not the first time the Danish organization has put up its spot for sale. Back in 2022, they considered offers for their spot in LEC, but the deals never made it through as the cost was around $40M to $50M.
Previously, organizations like Karmine Corp and Natus Vincere showed interest in buying their LEC slot out. In between their timeline, LEC saw franchise shuffles between Team Heretics and Misfits while Rogue left the league as KOI bought the majority of their stakes in LEC.

Reports Claim Astralis Is In Talks To Sell LEC Spot Again
Reports from Blixx.gg claim that the famous Saudi Arabian esports organization, Team Falcons, is in talks for acquiring the spot for the upcoming season. Alongside Falcons, “a big ERL org” is in talks too. It looks like Team Falcons are in advanced negotiations with Riot Games for acquiring Astralis’ LEC spot.
As mentioned above, organizations like Karmine Corp and Giants were previously in talks with Riot Games too, for buying out Astralis’ LEC spot. Both of the organizations have good relations with Riot Games as they form an integral part of VCT EMEA League, the franchised Valorant League in EMEA.
Astralis, as a team, did not find much success in League of Legends since its inclusion in LEC in 2019. The organization has never been to an international LoL tournament during its stint in the sport. Currently, they are out of LEC Summer Split, as their team could not make the cut for the Summer Group Stage. As a matter of fact, Astralis could not earn enough Championship Points to make the Season Finals for a Worlds qualification spot either.
