ade by Bethesda and the Fallout Shelter team, Behaviour Entertainment, a new Elder Scrolls title has made its way out this month. While gamers still wait on official information for The Elder Scrolls 6, this title can likely captivate them for some time. The game is set in the world of Tamriel and is already made available for certain regions. Bethesda has confirmed that the strategy game will be coming to the rest of the world soon. The title is a nice getaway for a standard RPG experience.
The Elder Scrolls: Castles is a strategy game paired with building and management elements set in the universe of Tamriel. It has many recalls from popular Bethesda titles such as Skyrim, Oblivion, and Fallout Shelter.

The Elder Scrolls: Castles Gains Attention Following Soft Launch From Bethesda
Made by the same developers, The Elder Scrolls: Castles shares many similar elements to Fallout Shelter. The title encourages gamers to create their own dynasty as they protect their citizens from threats and oversee day-to-day life activities. The Elder Scrolls: Castles is a perfect substitute for Bethesda fans who are seemingly waiting for a Starfield DLC or waiting on more news for The Elder Scrolls 6, which was announced at E3 2018.
Castles is a mobile-only game that is available on the App Store (Apple) and Google Play (Android) for select countries/regions. One can pre-register for the title on its official website or through their respective store pages.
Bethesda has also announced the minimum system requirements for The Elder Scrolls: Castles. It is as follows:
Android
- OS: 10
- Device: Pixel 2 equivalent
iOS
- OS: 13
- Device: iPhone 8
At the moment, Elder Scrolls Castles is available in the Philippines. Bethesda's official X page stated that it will be available in more countries in the coming months. The soft launch is one of the first steps to get feedback and make changes to the game before it launches worldwide, says the developer. In Castles, one can delve deep into the world with citizens who were born and live through the dynasty's changes. The player can control an immersive world with fluid animations and a unique art style.
At the moment, it is hard to say if the strategy game will ever make it to PC. However, Bethesda has promised frequent updates for the game and many tweaks before it officially makes it to the market.
