Xbox has put all rumours to rest and confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be launched on day one of Xbox Game Pass later this year. Yesterday, the company announced a major shake-up for its subscription service.
The game will arrive on Xbox Game Pass on day one when it is launched later this year, for both PC and console players. This is the first major change Microsoft has brought to Call of Duty releases since it took over Activision.
Previously, the company seemed to have mistakenly revealed that the game would be hitting Xbox Game Pass one day later in 2024. the Verge reported that the Xbox Game Pass app on Android and iOS devices had notified users through a push notification that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is "coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one later this year."

Did Microsoft Accidentally Reveal Its Xbox Game Pass Plans?
The link sent to users via push notification redirected users to an Xbox Wire page that doesn’t exist anymore, though it does have a URL that mentions playing Black Ops 6 on Game Pass right from day one.
That said, it looks like the push notification was mistakenly sent out to Xbox Game Pass users on mobile devices sooner than it should have, even before the official announcement.
Although the company later announced the news, a report earlier this month suggested Xbox would make an announcement about Call of Duty on Xbox Game Pass during Summer Game Fest next month in June. Guees, we don’t have to wait that long.

Two Games Confirmed For Xbox Game Pass In June 2024
There’s still a lot of time for Xbox Game Pass in May, but there are already reports about what’s in store for June. Two games have already been confirmed as of now, although both titles will launch on “day one” on the service.
The highlight for many would be Still Wakes The Deep, which is a first-person horror game developed by the team that brought us Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and Dear Esther.
The second game coming to the service is called Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends, where players will be tasked with running their restaurant. Fans can expect more announcements for June 2024 in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, here are some details on the confirmed titles coming to Xbox Game Pass.
