After sharing the first teaser of Treyarch Studios’ upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the developers are back with a live-action trailer. With the new live-action trailer, Xbox confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released with Xbox Day One Game Pass.
Activision will reveal more information about the game, including the release date, on 9 June 2024 at 10 am PT during the Xbox Games Showcase. The Xbox Games Showcase will be immediately followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct, where the developers will share the game’s first in-depth gameplay.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct To Reveal Game’s First In-Depth Gameplay On 9 June 2024, Immediately After Xbox Games Showcase
The new live-action trailer of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 revolves around the war that was hidden from everyone, but it seems like the world will now face its repercussions. Xbox will do a full worldwide reveal on 9 June 2024 during its Xbox Games Showcase event. After the full reveal, Activision will hold a Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct, where the developers will share the first in-depth gameplay of the game. In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Direct, the developers will dive deep into the game to talk about the next instalment of the Black Ops franchise.
Alongside the live-action trailer, Xbox revealed that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available to play with Day One with Xbox Pass. Players who have Xbox Pass will be able to play the game on the day of the release. Xbox will most likely share more details about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s launch and preorders during the Xbox Games Showcase event on 9 June 2024.
Apart from the Black Ops 6 full reveal, Xbox will showcase their games from their portfolio of studios across Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda, and Xbox Game Studios, in addition to titles from their third-party partners. The Xbox Games Showcase will go live on 9 June 2024 at 10 am PT across Xbox’s official YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch channels. The event will be broadcast in 30 different languages.
