After having a glorious run in other titles like BGMI, Carnival Gaming continues its domination in Indian esports by winning the Skyesports Showdown CS2 tournament. Skyesports Showdown was an open-for-all Counter-Strike 2 esports tournament, where all the CS2 across India registered to compete against each other. After a series of thrilling matches, Carnival Gaming came out on top to win the championship.
Many renowned and emerging teams participated in the tournament, with an intense round of qualifiers and a thrilling Playoffs stage. Carnival Gaming made their way into the grand finals via the lower bracket and won their first title after entering the CS2 esports.

Carnival Gaming Wins Their First CS2 Title After Entering The Counter-Strike Esports
Carnival Gaming entered the Counter-Strike esports in late March with an experienced lineup. Carnival Gaming CS2 roster features:

After a smooth run in the Open Qualifiers, Carnival Gaming entered the Skyesports Showdown Playoffs with a positive momentum. Carnival Gaming played their first game against Marcos Gaming and won the match with a dominating scoreline of 2-0. Despite showcasing their domination, Carnival couldn’t keep their nerves against True Rippers. True Rippers defeated Carnival Gaming with a 2-1 scoreline, pushing Carnival into the lower bracket.
Carnival Gaming showed resilience in the lower bracket and continued their winning run to qualify for the grand final. In the finale of the Skyesports Showdown, Carnival Gaming met their archnemesis True Rippers. Carnival Gaming had learnt from their mistakes from the previous matchup and decimated True Rippers in the finale. With a 2-0 scoreline in their favour, Carnival Gaming won the Skyesports Showdown CS2 tournament. Carnival Gaming won Rs. 70,000 of the Rs. 1,00,000 prize pool. Our start was rough because our roster was made up of players from different teams. So, the mentality and synergy we had towards the game were different, and it took us a while to adapt. A lot of people said that our roster wouldn’t work. But, within a month, we have been able to win this tournament.
With the conclusion of the Skyesports Showdown, Indian CS2 will look forward to the India Qualifiers for the Skyesports Championship 2024. The winner of the Indian Qualifiers will advance into the Skyesports Championship 2024, where the top CS2 teams from all around the globe will land in India for the LAN event. The first set of invited teams to the Skyesports Championship 2024 are Eternal Fire, FURIA, The Mongolz, Aurora Gaming, and BetBoom. Skyesports Championship 2024 boasts a massive prize pool of $200,000.
