CS:GO's long-awaited Source 2 Engine update had a rocky start. Despite the extended Limited Test sessions, CS2's initial launch suffered from reduced content and major bugs that affected the competitive gameplay. Valve still managed to get the ball rolling, patching most of the alarming issues. However, CS2 still has a long way to go as the game severely lacks game modes and maps compared to CS:GO.
At the moment, Valve is primarily focused on fixing the servers and other bugs that fans have been complaining about. The current patch is one of many that fans can expect in the future.
