Earlier this week, EA announced confirmed plans to release two unannounced titles during its current fiscal year, ending on March 31, 2025. In the company release state published on Tuesday, fans could see a partner game, which will likely be published through EA Originals and will be released in the first quarter of 2025. The second game they mentioned was an owned IP title, which is now said to be Dragon Age: Dreadwolf.
For the rest of the new releases slate of fiscal year 25, one would be able to see Tales of Kenzera: ZAU, EA Sports F1 24 for the first quarter, EA Sports College Football 25, EA Sports Madden NFL 25, and EA Sports FC 25 for the second quarter, EA Sports NHL 25 for the third quarter, and the partner title for the final quarter.

Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is the Second Mystery Title For EA's Fiscal Year '25
Dragon Age: Dreadwolf was first announced last year and has an initial reveal window of summer 2024. However, a source has already revealed this title for it to be a mystery. While the core business and FY25 title slate from EA labeled it as an 'unannounced' title, Giant Bomb reporter Jeff Grubb took the curtains off from the ''owned IP'' title, revealing it to be Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. EA's decision to keep the title under wraps is still unclear, however.
The release date for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is yet to be announced; however, EA is planning a full reveal with a trailer this summer. Aside from Dreadwolf, the 'partner title' from the slate is still under the curtains, as there is no information available on the name of the title. Dragon Age: Inquisition was the last mainline entry in the franchise, which was released in 2014. After almost 10 years, BioWare is ready to reveal another Dragon Age game to fans.
Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will likely feature a very different combat style compared to its predecessors. Each game in the series has used a different style when it comes to fighting. However, Dragon Age: Origins is still considered one of the best RPGs and the apex of the series. This could mean that Dreadwolf may share a lot of positives with the older Dragon Age title. However, gamers must wait for the official reveal in a few months to know more.
