Elden Ring DLC Gameplay Reveal Trailer Confirmed for February 21
Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree will get its first trailer tomorrow morning. This trailer is said to consist of over 3 minutes of gameplay from the new DLC. A little over a year ago, FromSoftware announced the upcoming DLC for Elden Ring, Shadow of The Erdtree. The DLC was promised to add to the already massive action RPG universe as well as provide more details about certain in-game lore.
Since the announcement of the DLC, fans of Elden Ring have been able to only get to see some tantalizing concept art. The Shadow of Erdtree update is Elden Ring’s second major downloadable content (DLC) update after 2022’s free update, the Colosseum, which gave players the chance to fight in the massive arenas scattered across the Lands Between.
However, fans of Elden will get their first look at Shadow of Erdtree in tomorrow’s gameplay trailer, which FromSoftware says will be our most in-depth look at the new game yet. In a tweet, FromSoftware said the trailer will last three minutes and feature subtitles in different languages.
While an exact release date has yet to be confirmed, fans can look forward to new environments, new enemies, new bosses, and new gameplay mechanics. Based on the concept art that was previously released, fans are speculating that the upcoming update will have a darker tone than the base game. What’s even more interesting is that tomorrow also marks the release date for the Nintendo Direct.
The Nintendo Direct is a 25-minute presentaion that focuses on the games that will be released in the first six months of 2024. The Pokemon Company has also announced that they will be holding a Pokemon Present stream on the 27th of February.
