Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players can achieve closure thanks to the upcoming DLC of the game. The DLC will be an epilogue to the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero and the third DLC of the Area Zero series. The upcoming The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will end the Scarlet and Violet story, ending the storyline of the latest game in the Pokemon franchise. The epilogue of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will be available for free on 11 January 2024. Still, players must have purchased The Teal Mask and The Indigo Mask DLC to access the postgame epilogue story.
Before the announcement, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet received the second DLS, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk. With The Indigo Disk, Briar, a Blueberry Academy teacher, finally proved Heath's findings correct by catching the legendary Pokemon Terapagos at Area Zero. With the epilogue DLC, fans have high hopes for Pokemon introducing a much-awaited mythical creature in Generation IX.

Pokemon Scarlet And Violet: The Hidden Treasure Of Area Zero To Be Out On 11 January 2024
Pokemon Company announced the final DLC to The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero series. The announcement came after launching the second DLC, The Indigo Disk, where the protagonist successfully discovers the legendary Pokemon, Terapagos, at Area Zero. The epilogue DLC will be available from 11 January 2024, at 9 AM ET for free, but players must have completed the following storylines of the game:
- Complete a certain postgame event in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
- Complete the main stories of The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero epilogue will likely take place at the Land of Kitakami, where the main story of The Teal Mask was based. The first DLC, The Teal Mask, was about the story of Ogerpon and the Loyal Three, while the following DLC, The Indigo Disk, featured the BB League. In The Indigo Disk, the player had to defeat BB League's Elite Four, followed by an intense battle against the Champion and the rival, Kieran.
After defeating Kieran, the player becomes the new Champion of the BB League. Following the BB League battle, the players Carmine and Briar went to Area Zero in search of the legendary Pokemon, Terapagos. Seeing what awaits in the upcoming postgame epilogue story will be interesting. In a recent datamined leak, it is suggested that the epilogue story will feature Generation IX's first mythical Pokemon, Pecharunt. Pecharunt will be a Poison/Ghost Pokemon, which will be the first such type combination after Gengar and its pre-evolutions.
