The International 12 Qualifiers are right around the corner and it is just a matter of time before fans see the final list of teams who will be making it to The International 12. One of the Dota teams that have showcased outstanding performances this year is Gaimin Gladiators.
Gladiators have successfully won three consecutive international tournaments, thus establishing their dominance in the history of professional Dota. A few days ago, Anton “Dyracho” Shkredov revealed that his fellow teammate, Erik “tOfu” Engel, is dealing with visa issues and his seat at The International is in question right now.

Dyracho Reveals Fellow Teammates’ Impending Visa Troubles
Earlier this week, Dyracho revealed that one of his teammates is currently facing VISA issues leading to uncertainty on whether Gaimin Gladiators will field their full roster at the tournament. According to Dyracho:
“tOfu had a tourist visa, and he said at the border that he was coming to work. Europeans have a visa waiver program, but he is banned there. Can’t go for it just because he misspoke.”
Being one of the top contenders to win TI, losing a teammate will turn out to be a crucial factor to the Gladiators’ success in the upcoming tournament. It will truly be a heartbreaking loss if they don’t win the biggest prestigious event of Dota after winning all those previous international titles.
Earlier this year, tOfu hinted at his visa situation which revolves around a “conflict in USA” status. This leads to delays in his visa acquisition process. The Aegis of Champions will be expanding its roots in Seattle this year. What seemed to be a communication gap is now heading towards being a more impactful and negligent error. As the TI draws closer, fans are surrounded by doubts and confusion about the European team’s future in the competition.
