Over the last month, the Gamers8 Festival hosted in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia has been home to almost every esport from Fortnite to Fifa. Now, with the event reaching its final leg fans are eagerly waiting for the Gamers8 CS:GO tournament. This tournament at Gamers8 will also be one of the last few CS:GO events before CS2 replaces it in the near future.
The tournament will feature a prize pool of $1,000,000 and the winner will take $400,000 home. 16 teams have been invited to the event, along with Saudi Arabian-owned 'Team Falcons.' Here are all the details ahead of the event.

Gamers8 CS:GO Tournament Starts August 16, 2023: Teams, and Schedule
The tournament will follow a single elimination bracket format where 16 teams from all around the globe will fight to make their way to Grand Finals on August 20, 2023. Let's take a look at the 16 teams participating in the event:

All 16 teams will start their journey in round 1 where the winners will advance to the Quarterfinals. The rest of the eight teams will be sent home thanks to the ruthless format. Over four days, all the teams will fight in best-of-three matchups against each other, and on August 20, 2023, the top two teams will play in the Grand Finals. The winners will win $400,000 while the runners-up will take $180,000 home.
The tournament will kick off at 02:00 pm (+3 UTC) on August 16, 2023. In the opening game, Apeks will be against GamerLegion while Cloud9 will fight Fnatic. For the first day, two matches will be played simultaneously, and Gamers8 will host two separate live streams on their channel.
