Sucker Punch Productions' Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut made it to PC last week, and fans are extremely happy about it. The title was initially released in 2020, to PlayStation 4 and an expanded version for PS4/PS5 with the Director's Cut. As the title was released on PC this year, Ghost of Tsushima quickly became Sony's fourth biggest Steam launch after successful titles like Helldivers 2, God of War (2018), and Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered.
Ghost of Tsushima PC port is also one of the better ports onto PC, after how poorly The Last of Us Part I Remastered performed when it came to the platform last year.

Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut PC Port Considered as Fourth Biggest Sony Launch on the Platform
According to numbers on SteamDB, the official Database for Valve's platform, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut PC has attracted a peak player count of 77,154 on Steam, as of writing this article. Helldivers 2, which currently has a peak of 458,709 is the only game above Sucker Punch's latest PC release.
After Ghost of Tsushima, readers can find God of War (2018), which has a peak of 73,529, at the moment, followed by Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, which is sitting at a 66,436 peak. After that, the next PlayStation title to come close to these numbers is Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition, with a player peak of 56,557, and its sequel Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition, with a peak of 40,462.
This new feat is a great moment for Sucker Punch Production and Nixxes, as their single-player title has had a successful launch on PC, attracting thousands of players as they enjoy the game on the platform.
Games like The Last of Us Part I, Days Gone, and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection were somewhat criticized for their poor port, as it made the experience less enjoyable for a lot of gamers at the beginning. Moreover, The Last of Us Part I PC still has a few unfixed issues on the platform.
While these are just the numbers for the Steam playerbase, gamers who purchased Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut through the Epic Games Store are also praising the title with high regard due to its decent optimization. The PC version of the game was developed in collaboration with Nixxes.
Right after its release on PC, more than 80% of the reviews were on the positive side, despite some of the fans being upset regarding the recent PlayStation Network controversy, which led to the game's delisting from over 100 countries across the globe.
