When is GTA 6 Coming Out?
Rockstar Games officially scheduled the Grand Theft Auto VI trailer for December 5, 9 am ET. However, the leak-plagued internet forced the publishers to launch the trailer ahead of schedule. The early reveal of the game caught the fans off-guard as the official trailer encompassed almost all the necessary details about the game, including the launch date. Aside from that, the trailer also showcased the nightlife and atmosphere of the new Vice City that gamers will indulge in while playing.
According to Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto VI has a 2025 release window. However, the title will only be released on current-gen consoles on launch, including Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Rockstar did not mention any word regarding a PC release.
Will GTA 6 Come on PC?
According to Rockstar's official statement, the title will only launch on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, with the developers not mentioning PC. However, it is safe to assume that the title will probably make its way to PCs after a given time. Even its predecessor, Grand Theft Auto 5, which had an official release date of September 17, 2013, was launched only on consoles at the time. However, Rockstar brought the game to PCs after two years in April 2015.
Even for Rockstar's other AAA giant, Red Dead Redemption 2, the initial release was only for consoles in 2018. However, the title then came to PCs right after a year. Following the same pattern, GTA 6 may also get its PC release after a year or two. While a handful of titles, like the first Red Dead Redemption game, is yet to get an official PC launch, the upcoming Grand Theft Auto is very unlikely to fall under the category.
