The Asian Games 2022 is hosting multiple esports titles in Hangzhou, China. India sent a fifteen-man team to the Asian Games to represent the nation in electronic sports like League of Legends, EA Sports FC Online, Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, and DOTA 2. Here, 35 prominent athletes from 22 different nations are competing in Street Fighter V: Champion Edition.
The Street Fighter V: Champion Edition tournament at the Asian Games 2023 took place from September 26 to 28 at the China Hangzhou Esports Center. Unfortunately, the Indian esports athletes for Street Fighter V: Champion Edition got knocked out on day 1 of the qualifiers.

Street Fighter V Indian Athletes Eliminated From Asian Games
Mayank or MiKeYROG lost 1-2 after putting up a hard fight against Saudi Arabia's Rajikhan Talal Fuad T to start the event. After suffering another defeat to Qatar's Al-Mannai Abdulla (0-2), he was eliminated from the competition. The other competitor from the nation, Ayan or AYAN01 won their first game spectacularly and had a solid start to their campaign by defeating Nguyen Khanh Hung Chau of Vietnam 2-0
However, in the first round of the winners' bracket, he suffered a tough 1-2 loss to Alrayfal Abdulrahman Salem A of Saudi Arabia. In Round 2 of the Losers Bracket, he defeated Vietnam's Nguyen once more with a convincing 2-0 scoreline. However, in the third round of the Losers Bracket, he was defeated by Yeh Man Ho of Hong Kong and was eliminated from the competition. He managed to reach the top 16 players of the league.
Ayan Biswas and Mayank Prajapati are two of India's best Street Fighter V players. After winning the National Esports Championship (NESC), which was run by the Esports Federation of India, the team secured a spot at the Asian Games 2023 competition.
