After their 2023 season, Paper Rex announced the departure of Jinggg from the roster owing to military service. In their latest update, PRX confirmed Jinggg's spot as an active team member for the upcoming 2024 season. Jinggg will be sticking to the group as a substitute.
Earlier this year, Paper Rex finished their VCT Champions run with a second-place finish. They lost their Grand Finals matchup against Evil Geniuses where the final scoreline was 3-1 in favour of the North American giants.

Paper Rex Announce Jinggg's Active Role In The Team For 2024 Season
Paper Rex is one of the strongest teams in the Asia Pacific region. In the regular season, they defeated Korean giants, DRX in the Grand Finals of the VCT Pacific League, to win it all and thus emerge as the number one team in the Pacific. What contributes to Paper Rex's success is the unwavering faith and bond as a team that the players hold. Jinggg has been a phenomenal player ever since he joined PRX, thus being a pivotal factor in the organization's long-term success in Valorant. Former Global Esports player, Monyet will be filling in Jinggg's shoes in the team for the upcoming Pacific season.

Jinggg as been an active member on the Paper Rex starting roster since 2021 and has contributed his mechanical and tactical skills throughout his competitive gaming journey with Paper Rex,” said Paper Rex Chief Gaming Officer (CGO) Harley ‘dsn’ Örwall. “There is no question that Jing Jie is a valuable member of Paper Rex. Paper Rex is yet to announce their first tournament in the OFF//Season for the new roster debut.
