League of Legends EMEA Championship is right around the corner. This is the eleventh season of LEC and the first official season implementing the newly introduced format. LEC Summer 2023 will feature 10 EMEA teams competing for a massive prize pool of 80,000 EUR and a slot in Worlds 2023. The teams will compete in a LAN setup at the LEC Studio in Berlin.

League of Legends EMEA Championship Summer 2023 Schedule & Format
LEC Summer Split is scheduled to take place between June 17th and July 30th. The regular season will have 10 teams compete in a Single Round Robin format where each team will play 9 matches and all the games will be Best of 1. The top 8 teams will advance to the Group Stage where 2 groups of 4 teams each will compete in a GSL format. All the matches will be played in a Best of 3 format. The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs. Playoffs will feature 4 teams competing for a spot in LEC Finals 2023. All the matches will be played in a Best of 5 format. LEC Finals 2023 will see 6 teams compete for a ticket to Worlds 2023.
