Xbox Possibly Teasing New Announcements for Upcoming Game Awards Event on December 7
The Game Awards 2023 will be held on December 7, 2023, at 19:30 ET / 4:30 PM PT / 12:30A+1 GMT / 6:00 AM IST (December 8 for India). The long-awaited award show will deliver a lot of announcements from various developers and corporations within the gaming community. Undoubtedly, Xbox will also make it to the list. While the promotional post teased the announcement regarding new Xbox news, it did not disclose anything specific on what gamers can expect. However, Xbox has a history of revealing newer titles and consoles to fans as they did during The Game Awards 2019, with Xbox Series X and Hellblade 2.
Gamers across the globe are already excited about some of the major announcements that will take place on December 7's event. Last year, The Game Awards held major announcements for Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding 2 and Judas from BioShock's creator, Ken Levine. However, a new Xbox announcement is also a great deal for the gaming community, considering Microsoft will likely deliver something fresh. In late September, a few legal documents were leaked from Microsoft that unveiled a few bare key elements of their gaming strategy. The leak also included plans to launch a redesigned Xbox Series X console. At the time, the redesign had the codename of Brooklin and was speculated to launch in the market in 2024. However, Xbox has been quiet since the launch as most of the gaming community was preoccupied with the launch of Starfield.
Aside from all the upcoming announcements, fans are excited to see who takes the Game of the Year title with some of the best contenders on the field, including Larian Studios' Baldur's Gate 3 and Remedy's Alan Wake 2.
