Nothing has officially confirmed the upcoming release of its latest smartphone, the Phone (2a) Plus, which is set to be launched on July 31. As expected, everything has been kept under wraps, revealing only the name of the device and an interesting image.
Fans of the brand have been eagerly waiting for what’s in store with this new addition to the company’s portfolio. The teaser image suggests a possible redesign, showcasing a texture that hints at a fresh aesthetic. However, there is a chance that the Phone (2a) Plus will maintain the familiar design of its predecessor, the Phone (2a). The specifics remain to be seen.
Besides, the teaser also hints at a new color scheme, featuring a grey and black combination. The tagline “Plus, More, Extra" could mean that the smartphone might pack a bigger display and additional features, further piquing interest.

Nothing Phone (2a) Specifications
Nothing's co-founder, Akis Evangelidis, took to X to share some insights: “With Phone (2a) Plus, we had the opportunity to create a beefed-up version for savvy users who demand more processing power. We also made some improvements that didn’t require hardware design changes. Finally, we wrapped it up with a new kick-ass variant that reflects these upgrades."
Speaking of the Nothing Phone (2a) launched in India at Rs 23,999. It is believed that the Phone 2a Plus might be priced around ₹30,000, as per several media reports. To recall, the Nothing Phone (2a) has a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset at heart and packs a 50MP dual camera setup.
It comes with a 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1300 nits. It also has a 5000mAh battery with a supoort for 45W fast charging. It will be interesting to see what the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus has in store if it is priced around Rs 30,000, as the smartphone segment is currently witnessing fierce competition.

Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Expected Specifications
The Nothing Phone 2a is expected to come equipped with a 6.8-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. This would be a significant upgrade over the 6.7-inch LCD display on the Nothing Phone 2a. The new display is also expected to come with a higher resolution, possibly 2K or even 4K.
The Nothing Phone 2a Plus is rumored to be backed by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. This would be a major upgrade, as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is one of the most powerful chipsets out there.
Speaking of the camera, the Nothing Phone 2a Plus is also said to be upgraded. The smartphone is said to have a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and an 8MP telephoto sensor.
