Hideo Kojima is back with another announcement this year at The Game Awards 2023. Kojima Productions officially revealed OD (Overdose), an upcoming psychological thriller/ horror game. This is the first time Kojima announced this title and offered a pretty brief look for fans to glimpse at. Overdose's gameplay and setting are still under wraps as the reveal trailer does not offer much except for the cast involved in the making of the game.
Some of the popular names like Sophia Lillis and German actor Udo Kier are also involved in the project. At the moment, there is not much to look at about the game as the reveal trailer was extremely short.

OD (Overdose) Revealed by Hideo Kojima at The Game Awards 2023
According to Kojima, OD (Overdose) is more than a game and will also offer a movie-like experience to gamers. It is something that players have never seen before. Kojima has always been known for making unique games. In the past, the Japanese creator has surprised the world with a unique genre of Death Stranding that also involved a legendary cast. While a sequel is still in the works, fans can also look forward to OD (Overdose).
The reveal trailer for Overdose only offered some insight into what the game will offer. It consisted of a few of the cast members horrifyingly repeating the same dialogue. Currently, the gameplay mechanics for the game are still unknown. However, one can expect a unique twist as it comes with all Kojima games.
The release date for OD (Overdose) is still unknown as it did not include one with its reveal. That said, one can expect a window soon after The Game Awards. Until then, gamers can look forward to more information from the official sources.
