It has been a week since Palworld was released and cheaters have already become an issue in the game. The developers, Pocketpair have decided to take prompt measures to combat the cheaters in the game. It has come to light that the cheaters have been using unethical ways to catch already tamed Pals in the Pal Spheres. However, the Spheres are not available in the game right now, but the cheaters have found a way around it.

Palworld To Bring Patch To Combat Cheaters
Palworld quickly paid heed to the players' complaints against the cheaters in the game and said they would be taking measures in the game and would have "countermeasures against various cheats and exploits." In a follow up tweet, they said that they have confirmed that some players are cheating and to take action against them, they will be issuing a patch soon. They said:
Currently, some players have been confirmed to be cheating on the official server. We will apply a patch as soon as it is ready, but it is currently difficult to completely prevent all cheating immediately.
We will continue to focus even more on security and aim to create an environment where everyone can play with peace of mind. We sincerely apologize to all players who have been affected by this incident. Thank you for your continued support of Palworld.
However, for now, Palworld doesn't have one in place right now. This was confirmed by Xyrem, from the Anti-Cheat Police Department. In an interview with IGN, Xyrem said:
Everything is client authoritative. Meaning most things you do inside the game are done via the client, the server does not check for any of these things. So for example, you can spawn items, manipulate your player’s speed, damage, health, etc. It’s just fixing a bunch of things to be non replicable in the client and make the server the authority to deal with replicating things to other clients.
After this, new patch notes were rolled out shortly and there have been significant changes in the game. However, these didn't have an anti-cheat like the players expected. The next set of patch notes is expected to have an anti-cheat system in it, which will help Pocketpair deal with cheaters more tactfully.
Palworld was released on January 19 and since then, the game has had over 8 million downloads on Steam.
