A lot of new games are coming to your PlayStation console if you have a subscription to one of Sony’s several PlayStation Plus tiers. The additional games for the June update will have 14 new games like the medieval RPG Crusader Kings III, After Us, Anna 1800, and Football Manager 2024.
The collection also brings many PS4/PS5 crossover titles starting with the fan favorite Monster Hunter Rise from Capcom. Others include Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 6 and the Police Simulator: Patrol Officers.
A few games originally released on the PS4 are also being added, including Far Cry 4 and two Lego games including The Hobbit and Disney-Pixar’s The Incredibles. A few older games are also being added to the Classics catalog for Premium subscribers: Ghosthunter, Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, and Daxter.

What’s In Store PlayStation Plus Subscribers?
June’s collection of PS Plus games is the first to bring a game for the PS VR 2 with the free release of the nature paddling simulator Kayak VR: Mirage. Sony kicked off releasing PS VR 2 games on its PlayStation PLSU earlier in June as part of its Days of Play celebration that included a good collection of virtual games, including Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord, Before Your Eyes, Walkabout Mini Golf, Synth Riders and both chapters of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners.
The first crop of of new PS Plus games for June was announced in May including SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, AEW Fight Forever, Streets of Rage 4, and EA Sports FC 24. These games are available to everyone, regardless of which PS Plus tier they are subscribed to.
The update also offered some PS2 classic games for those on the Premium tier. These games include Tomb Raider Legend, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. Finally, PS Plus Extra and Premium members also have access to Dredge, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, Cricket 24, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definition Edition , and a game trial of WWE 2K24.

PlayStation Free-To-Play Mobile Games Platform In Works
A new job listing has suggested that PlayStation is developing a new platform for free-to-play mobile games. First spotted by TweakTown, the job listing seeks a mobile platform architect, which reveals details on what PlayStation could have in store for its mobile users. Previously, Xbox also revealed that it will be launching its Xbox mobile store in July this year.
The listing reads, “PlayStation Studios Mobile is seeking an experienced software engineer to design PlayStation’s platform for developing, publishing, and operating free-to-play mobile games. An individual in this role will spearhead the design and implementation of this platform, work in partnership with internal teams to connect mobile games to PlayStation services, and ensure that all mobile games meet PlayStation’s quality standards.”
