In the past, PUBG Mobile has partnered with several anime series like Jujutsu Kaisen and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Their most recent project was collaborating with the League of Legends Netflix series Arcane. Next up on the list is Dragon Ball Super, the franchise that made record-breaking sales in other games like Fortnite. Krafton announced that the Dragon Ball collaboration will land in July 2023.

PUBG Mobile to Partner With Dragon Ball Super
PUBG Mobile teased its partnership with Dragon Ball Super last year in August 2022. Since then, fans have been waiting for the game to give another update on this collaboration. After almost a year, the wait is finally over. PUBG Mobile has confirmed its partnership for the upcoming Version 2.7 update will be with Dragon Ball Super. Previously, Dragon Ball Super collaborated with Fortnite, but this will be the first time the anime series collaborates with a mobile-only game.
According to Krafton, it will be one of the biggest partnerships, and the developers have confirmed the coming of an "unprecedented amount of in-game content." With the Dragon Ball Super collab, the possibilities of in-game content are endless. Audiences expect Dragon Ball Super characters like Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, and others to be a part of the game with powers and animation of their own.
Apart from introducing new characters, the fans might see new objectives in the unranked mode of the game, where the players need to search for Dragon Balls. Players might expect a Dragon Ball Super-themed location with another set of objectives, similar to what Krafton introduced during the Pharaoh Rises Event. The new features could include limited-time modes and challenges to unlock certain cosmetics. More details are expected to surface in the coming weeks.
