Following a successful outing in Pune, The Esports Club has now made its way to Kochi for the much-anticipated Alienware and Intel presents TEC Arena Connect Kochi with gaming headset partner Sony Inzone and talent partner Maverik. TEC Arena Connect Kochi was a one-day event replete with intense CSGO Lan games, community tournaments, and meet and greet with popular content creators like Dynamo Gaming, Doctor Gaming and Kaztro Gaming.

TEC Arena Connect Kochi: Esports Tournaments and Meet and Greet Recap
The highlight Esports tournament of TEC Arena Connect Kochi was the CSGO LAN finals. A total of 20 teams registered online for the tournament, out of which only four teams made it to the LAN event. The top 4 teams of the CSGO tournaments were:
- Firedup Gaming
- Retaliation
- Aqua Gaming
- Precision One Gaming
Out of the four teams, Precision One Gaming couldn't make it to the venue, and therefore Team Retaliation advanced to the Grand Finals. In the semifinal matchup between Firedup Gaming and Aqua Gaming, Firedup Gaming won the best-of-one game and joined Team Retaliation in the Grand Finals.
The Grand Finals was a best-of-three game, where Firedup Gaming defeated Team Retaliation with a 2-0 scoreline to win the event. Firedup Gaming took Rs. 1,00,000 prize money home, while the runners-up, Team Retaliation, won Rs. 60,000 cash prize. Aqua Gaming and Precision One Gaming took Rs. 20,000 from the Rs. 2,00,000 prize pool.
TEC Arena Connect Kochi hosted several community tournaments where the registrations were done on the spot. The titles included in the community events were FIFA 23 (1v1), Mortal Kombat 11 (1v1), and Valorant Team Deathmatch (5v5). In the Valorant Team Deathmatch, Team Blackspades came victorious and grabbed Rs. 30,000 prize money, while Team Daanjar came second with Rs. 20,000 cash prize. Allan Jolly won Mortal Kombat 11 and FIFA 23 1v1, taking Rs. 30,000 prize money home. Basil Binu came second in Mortal Komat 11, and Mohammad Imran Akbar came second in FIFA 23. Both the runners-up receive a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.
TEC Arena Connect Kochi hosted a meet and greet session with the top creators like Dynamo Gaming, Doctor Gaming and Kaztro Gaming. The event also had several cosplayers cheering the crowd with their aesthetic outfits from their favourite video games.
