According to X user @TezFunz2, the Red Dead Redemption PC version may arrive soon, as the user found strings related to the title on the Rockstar launcher's site file. The string in the program included a well-written description of Red Dead Redemption and its Undead Nightmare DLC alongside specifically stating its arrival on PC.
If this leak were to be believed, the long-awaited Red Dead Redemption will come to the platform 14 years after its original release in the last-to-last-gen consoles. Red Dead Redemption is a critically acclaimed title that possesses various accolades from its time. While the sequel also did the game justice by surpassing sales and popularity, the original is yet to be played by PC owners.

Red Dead Redemption PC Leaked on Rockstar Launcher Site File
A code string in the Rockstar launcher site file has mentioned a description that specifically stated a Red Dead Redemption PC version. The string starts with the words "RDR_ProductPromotion_Intro_Body", which may suggest Red Dead Redemption PC's promotion through Rockstar Games' official websites or launchers. The same description may also be used on other platforms such as Steam and the Epic Games Store. The description reads:
"Journey across the sprawling expanses of the American West and Mexico in Red Dead Redemption, and its zombie-horror companion, Undead Nightmare, now playable on PC."
The site file also included another string by the name of "RDR_ProductPromotion_Intro_LongTitle", which read the following:
"Experience the epic Western adventures that defined a generation."
User @TezFunz2 also added another Rockstar site file code with GTA V descriptions and mentioned that the company uses the same method to promote the Grand Theft Auto game. Considering that, most fans believe the news. However, it is still not confirmed if the potential Red Dead Redemption PC version will be a remaster or a direct port.
While Rockstar Games added the 60 FPS performance mode for PS5 gamers, fans are still expecting unlocked performance for the title on PC. With a direct port, doing that may be a bit difficult for the developers. However, a 60-fps version may be received well by the fans after all, as the title is coming to the platform after 14 long years.
The Rockstar launcher site file did not include any additional strings regarding Red Dead Redemption PC. The mentioned description was all the user could find; however, gamers are expecting more such leaks or official information.
