One of India's most decorated esports organizations, Revenant Esports, has joined forces with AMD as its title partner ahead of the 2024 esports season. The collaboration between the esports organization and the leading global semiconductor manufacturer has a long roadmap ahead. The companies will work together to grow the esports communities in the industry while also strengthening the PC gaming rosters in the country.

Rohit Jagasia, the founder and CEO of Revenant Esports, has commented on this collaboration by stating that they are thrilled to be partnered again with the California-based tech giants as title sponsors. This is not the first time the two companies have collaborated. In June 2022, Revenant Esports (RNT) announced its first partnership with the chip giant as the latter offered equipment and kits to the players.

CEO and Founder, Jagasia further commented on his statement, saying that the partnership is not just about enhancing the brands but pushing the gaming industry to greater heights.

According to Jagasia, AMD is a veteran in the Indian esports industry, as it also represents mutual benefits and deals that will take steps towards growth in the industry advancements. The sponsored AMD technologies will offer a great benefit to the upcoming RNT PC rosters. AMD will receive its very own branding on the strategic torso jersy spot as the title sponsor. This will gain the chip giants maximum visibility across all of Revenant Esports' teams in upcoming tournaments. Aside from that, the American company will also offer infrastructural support to RNT's PC rosters by delivering cutting-edge CPUs.

Why is the AMD Partnership a Huge Deal for Revenant Esports?

Revenant Esports has been one of the most popular faces in the Indian esports scene. The organization has been a worthy contender in the PC gaming community as it consistently maintained a praiseworthy performance across various esports tournaments.

​RNT's forte has mainly been in Valorant, Counter-Strike, and Apex Legends, with the esports organization scoring multiple podium finishes, alongside qualifying for the $1 million Apex Legends Global Series in 2022. They have also secured the first spot in Esportz Premier Series Valorant LAN in early 2023 and a runners-up spot in the Counter-Strike Skyesports Masters with a massive 2 Crore prize pool. With the recent partnership with AMD, the Indian organization may receive the boost it needs to thrive further during the 2024 esports season.

BGMI developer Krafton has recently acquired Tango Gameworks. The Japanese game developer earlier with Microsoft, who had recently announced they would be shutting the developers' operations. With this deal, Krafton is taking its first step into the Japanese video game market. After this deal, Krafton also holds rights to the Hi-Fi Rush franchise.

Krafton Buys Tango Gameworks, Announces Expansion

Tango Gameworks has been known to develop games like Ghostwire: Tokyo, The Evil Within and Hi-Fi Rush is the flagship of the Japanese developer. In a press release, Krafton informed their players and audience about the expansion. 

As part of this strategic agreement, Krafton intends to collaborate with Xbox and ZeniMax to ensure a smooth transition and maintain continuity at Tango Gameworks, allowing the talented team to continue developing the Hi-Fi Rush IP and explore future projects. 

Krafton also announced that will continue to work on future projects that Tango Gameswork was working on. Tango Gameswork had been working on a lot of games and the franchise of Hi-Fi Rush is also likely to continue and will not be impacted by this change of power in the studio.

Krafton intends to support the Tango Gameworks team to continue its commitment to innovation and delivering fresh and exciting experiences for fans. There will be no impact on the existing game catalog of The Evil Within, The Evil Within 2, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and the original Hi-Fi Rush game.

Tango Gameswork came into being in 2010 and the first game the studio developed was The Evil Within. In May 2024, Microsoft announced that it would be shutting down three studios that were under Microsoft. Redfall developer Arkane Austin, Mighty Doom developer Alpha Dog Studios, and Tango Gameworks were the three studios. 

Ubisoft's Star Wars Outlaws is nearing its release this month, and fans are excited to see how the French developers will deliver a Star Wars game to gamers.
