As we inch closer to the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the rumor mill has been churning out new information at a fast pace. Samsung is now said to be testing the 12GB RAM variant for the US, as revealed by various benchmarks for the phone on the Geekbench website.
Now, a benchmark for the international model has shown up with 12GB of RAM as well. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be the first phone in the lineup that comes with 12GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 To Get Huge RAM Bump
More RAM will be among the few upgrades that Samsung’s latest clamshell foldable will offer to users. The base variant will feature 8GB of RAM, as users would expect, and it’s possible the 12GB RAM option will not be provided in every region.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The same chip fuels the Galaxy S24 Ultra worldwide and the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ in select markets.
Speaking of the software, the Z Flip 6 will come with Android 14 wrapped under One UI 6.1.1 pre-loaded. Some new Galaxy AI features are expected as well. Samsung hasn’t confirmed whether the Flip 6 will be eligible for seven years of software updates, but it’s safe to assume that it will be.

Samsung Confirms Galaxy AI For Its Upcoming Foldable Phones
With summer just days away, many Samsung fans are anticipating the launch of its latest foldable devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. If rumors and leaks are to be believed, it seems Samsung isn’t going to be making any big changes to its foldable devices this year, which means, it’s once again relying on its features.
While some might see this as a bad move, others seem to be confident in Samsung, thanks to the reliability and consistency of its products. Hardware is just one aspect of the product, especially for smartphones, with software making up another big part of it as well.
That said, it seems like Samsung is ready to bring some of its AI prowess to its upcoming foldable devices, as a press release has shed light on some of the things that users can expect from the brand in the coming days.
Samsung jumped on the AI bandwagon with the launch of the Galaxy S24 series, which came out earlier this year. The brand shared its vision of using the tech with Galaxy AI, providing a plethora of useful features, including Circle to Search to its smartphones.
