Apple during its WWDC 2024 keynote announced several new AI features that will soon be seen on Apple devices. However, Samsung doesn’t seem too impressed with what Apple announced during the event.
Apple announced a host of new features for the next iterations of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. For instance, the Notes app will now offer voice transcription and AI summaries. Another feature dubbed Clean Up will leverage AI to erase items from a photo.

Samsung Not Impressed with Apple’s New AI Features
If some of these features sound familiar, that’s because you might have already seen them on Android. In fact, a lot of the announcements from WWDC today were somewhat inspired by Android’s AI features. It’s safe to assume that Samsung had a close eye on the launches because the company’s social media accounts had a lot of things to say.
It wasn’t just Android’s AI features Apple might have taken inspiration from. The company also added the functionality to place apps anywhere, similar to what Android users have been able to do for years. Here’s what Samsung had to say about the announcement:
Samsung wasn’t the only company to take digs at Apple. Nothing also took a jab at the company after it launched a feature that enables users to choose the color of their app icons.
Overall, it seems that Apple is trying hard to catch up with Android yet again. Apple’s AI features will arrive with the rollout of “Apple Intelligence” later this year.

Samsung Previously Took A Dig At Apple’s Alarm Bug
Recently, it was revealed that several iPhones were hit by a bug where the alarm didn’t go off, and many people complained about not reaching their workplace on time due to this issue. And as Samsung has done in the past, it did not leave the opportunity to take a dig at Apple.
Samsung UK took a jab at the iPhone maker by posting a short video (Reel) on its Instagram handle, trolling Apple for the alarm bug on the iPhone. In the video, you will be able to see a dog, wearing a hat, dancing on the remixed version of Samsung’s default alarm tone.
The video also had a caption that read: “Rest assured, our alarms GO OFF,” while adding that “Samsung users woke up on time today.” The remixed version of Samsung’s alarm tone has a nice ring to it and is pretty catchy as well.
