Skyesports recently announced that the Pokemon Unite India Open 2023 is real. The tournament will serve as the pathway to the Asia Champions League 2023 for Indian teams. Although Skyesports did not mention the number of teams that will qualify, they did mention that registrations have already begun and will end on November 2, 2023.
Skyesports is one of the leading tournament organizers in the Indian gaming community. They have hosted multiple big tournaments throughout the years. They have conducted some of the biggest LAN tournaments in the country.

Pokemon Unite India Open 2023 Registrations Live Now
According to the official details from Skyesports, the tournament registrations have already begun from 11th October and will continue till 2nd November. The top teams from the Qualifier stage will make the cut for the Playoffs stage. The Qualifier stage will be held between the 5th and 7th of November while the Playoffs stage will begin on 8th November.
Earlier this year, Skyesports hosted the Pokemon Unite Asia Champions League India Qualifiers in collaboration with The Pokemon Company. The tournament paved the way for Indian teams to showcase their skills at the national level. From here they had the chance to go big on the international stage, aka, the Pokemon Unite Asia Champions League 2023. After months of competition, only two teams could secure tickets to the Main Event. Revenant Esports and Marcos Gaming emerged as the victors of the Indian qualifiers.
The two teams made it to the Pokemon Unite Asia Champions League 2023 where they faced the top teams across the Asian region. The Pokemon Unite Asia Champions League 2024 took place in a LAN setup in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Here, the top six teams from Asia competed for fame and glory. The tournament featured a massive prize pool of $60,500.
East Asian Champions Hi5 defeated all their opponents and ascended to the Champions' throne. Despite their immense potential, neither of the Indian teams could bag a win against the international teams which resulted in them being at the bottom of the league. This time around, Indian Pokemon fans are rooting for their teams to win it all on the international stage.
