After successfully concluding India's first-ever franchised-based Counter-Strike, Skyesports Masters 2023, the Chennai-based esports organisation announced the 2024 iteration of their CS2 IP. Skyesports Masters 2024 will be an international CS2 tournament with eight CS2 teams competing for the lion's share of the $350,000 prize pool.
Skyesports Masters 2024 will feature eight CS2 teams, including seven international and one Indian team competing in a CS2 LAN event. Of the eight teams, six teams will enter the tournament via an official invite, whereas two other teams must win the regional qualifiers to be part of the LAN finale.

Skyesports Masters 2024 To Feature Seven International Teams And One Indian Team Competing For A Lion's Share Of The $350,000 Prize Pool
After organising the Skyesports Grand Slam in Pune from 14 March 2024 to 16 March 2024, Skyesports shift their focus to host their second CS2 tournament of the year, Skyesports Masters 2024. Skyesports Masters 2024 will be a seven-day LAN event featuring an intense CS2 extravaganza between eight international teams from 8 April 2024 to 14 April 2024.
Prior to the seven-day LAN, Skyesports will host a European closed qualifier and Indian qualifiers, and the winner from each qualifier will advance to the Skyesports Masters 2024 LAN event. Besides the regional qualifiers, Skyesports will invite six international CS2 teams directly to the main event. After all the eight teams are locked for the LAN finale, they will compete across seven days, from 8 April 2024 to 14 April 2024, to crown themselves as the champions of the Skyesports Masters 2024 and claim the lion's share of the $350,000.

Skyesports Masters 2024 is the second CS2 tournament out of the six planned international tournaments for 2024. Skyesports hosted the first iteration of Skyesports Masters in 2023 as a franchised-based tournament with the LAN finale at Koramangala Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru, with Gods Reign winning the lion's share of Rs. 2 Crore prize pool.
