Starfield The Best There Is Quest: What Happens On Betraying Huan Daiya?
ComSpike is a device that will be helpful in upcoming missions, and one can track the shipments, making it one of the most demanded smuggling techs. Since the device's prototype is only available at the highly secured UC Starstation SY-920, Naeva asks the player to work with her smuggling contact, Huan Daiya. Huan Daiya helps sneak through the security at SY-920 and reach the ComSpike.
Dr. Vogel is one of the engineers working on the ComSpike's prototype, and one can find him in Engineering Bay 4. On interacting with him, the players will get two options: To betray Huan Daiya and blow her cover or persuade Dr. Vogel.
Betraying Huan Daiya
Upon Betraying Huan Daiya, Dr. Vogel will give the keycard to the prototype ship consisting of ComSpike, and the security will be after Huan. The player can return to Crimson Fleet's ship, The Key, hand over the prototype and report it to Delgado. Huan will be on The Key and will be angry since her cover was blown. She warns that she will come back for her vengeance. Delgado will happily get his hands on ComSpike and won't bother about the betrayal.
Persuading Dr. Vogel
While persuading Dr. Vogel, one must convince him they are the prototype ship's new test pilot. After successfully persuading him, Dr. Vogel will hand over the keycard to the ship, and when one tries to run away with the spaceship, the guards will chase them, but the player can get away and reach Crimson Fleet's base. Ultimately, Huan Daiya will be happy to complete the mission successfully, and Delgado will have the ComSpike.
Whether one chooses to betray Huan Daiya or not, the conclusion to the mission won't be affected. The only difference will be in the narration and how Huan Daiya thinks about the player. Betraying Huan Daiya will impact how the members of the Crimson Fleet look at the player, showcasing a lack of loyalty and decreasing the chances of becoming a Crimson Fleet's Pirate.
