As Microsoft is trying to overcome a massive global outage, an old interview of Apple’s co-founder Steve Jobs criticizing Microsoft’s products has gone viral. The remarks that the late Steve Jobs made about Microsoft making "third-rate products" have been doing rounds of social media, adding fuel to the fire of the already heated online discussions.
The severe technical breakdown, linked to a recent CrowStrike update, disrupted several sectors across the globe, affecting flights, supermarkets, and banking operations. Amid all the chaos, memes and reactions flooded social media, with Jobs’ 1995 interview emerging as a focal point.
In the interview, Jobs said, "The only problem with Microsoft is that they just have no taste. They have absolutely no taste. And what that means is - I don't mean that in a small way. I mean that in a big way. They don't think of original ideas and don't bring much culture into their products."

Jobs Wasn’t Impressed By Microsoft’s Product Quality
Jobs did not take a jibe at Microsoft’s success, acknowledging their accomplishments, but he wasn’t impressed by the quality of their products. "I have a problem with the fact that they just make really third-rate products," Jobs said.
Around six hours after the initial reports of the outage, Microsoft updated users on X, stating, Multiple services are continuing to see improvements in availability as our mitigation actions progress." Later, the company announced that the "underlying cause for the global outage has been fixed," though impacts continued to affect some Office 365 apps and services.
In India, the outage impacted flight operations, payment systems, and trading. Airlines like Air India, IndiGo, Akasa Airlines, and SpiceJet turned to manual boarding processes, urging passengers to arrive at airports early.
As Microsoft worked to restore operations, the resurgence of Steve Jobs’ critical comments served as a reminder of the long-standing rivalry between two of the biggest names in the tech industry.

Windows Users Getting Blue Screen Of Death
Blue Screen errors, also called black screen errors or STOP code errors, show up when a critical issue forces Windows to unexpectedly shut down or restart. Users could also encounter a message saying: "Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer" or a similar notification.
These errors can be a result of hardware or software issues. If you’ve recently installed new hardware and encountered a Blue Screen error, try shutting down the PC, removing any new hardware, and attempting to restart. If restarting doesn’t work, users can initiate the PC in safe mode.
Moreover, consider updating Windows with the latest patches through Windows Update, looking for assistance from other sources, or restoring Windows to a previous restore point.
