Valorant Limited Beta To Go Live On PlayStation 5 And Xbox Series X|S Consoles On 14 June 2024
With their announcement at the Summer Game Fest, Riot Games is ready to bring the Valorant to consoles. While fans are excited to hear the arrival of Valorant to consoles, the launch of the full-fledged game might take some time. On 14 June 2024, Valorant Limited Beta will go live in North America, Japan, and Europe only, and Riot might expand that in the future.
Players can register on the Play Valorant website to queue themselves for the beta. Players should note that registration does not guarantee an invitation. Another way to access Valorant Beta on Consoles is by using a personal referral link. Players who receive an official invite from Riot can share their referral link with up to five other players, and they can join the beta directly.
Riot Games also confirmed that Valorant will support console crossplay only. All the console players will be matched up against each other, allowing Xbox players to play with PlayStation players. PC players won’t be able to play with console players. Players can use their Valorant PC accounts to play on consoles, and the progress/purchases will be shared on both platforms:
- Account Level
- Currencies (VP, Kingdom Creds, Radianite Points)
- Recruited Agents
- Weapon Skins
- Battle Pass
- Battle Pass Progression
- Mission Progression (Dailies, Weekly, etc)
Players won’t share the same ranks on console and PC, and they will have separate rank and MMR when playing on either platform. Initially, all the core, non-competitive game modes will be available for the players and will added after players have spent some hours in the game. On launch, Valorant Beta will come with a mix of old and new maps, and over time, it will also share the same map pool as the PC.
