After posting a sub-par performance in the 2023 competitive season, S8UL Esports' co-owner announced that some changes will be seen in the coming year. These changes, he said, would be for the betterment of the team. In line with this initial comment, Soul Esports announced the departure of their BGMI coach, Amit, who had joined the team with Omega and Akshat two years ago.

Team SouL Bids Farewell To Coach Amit
Team SouL, who were the BMPS 2021 champions, had a terrible year in 2023, failing to qualify for the BGIS 2023 finals and the BGMS Season 2 finals. These performances led to internal discussions, and the team was given one last chance by 8bit Goldy, another co-owner of the team, who assured fans that necessary steps would be taken to bring the team back to its original glory.
Announcing changes in the team, Thug said:
Soul was never meant to be a mediocre team and we will take huge steps to ensure better outcome in 2024. Heading to Bootcamp to spend End of Year with the S8UL fam.
Taking the changes conversation ahead, Siddhant Joshi, the manager of the team said that the team would be entering the year with a fresh mindset and the changes that follow will be for the betterment of the team. He said:
Next few days until the announcements start rolling in please remember, we cannot make everyone happy. Whatever we do, we do to ensure victory. Decisions will be quick and precise and we will enter 2024 with a completely fresh mindset.
When the lineup was made, the team showed immense potential and Goblin, the assaulter of the team, was the MVP of most official and unofficial tournaments, along with having the highest finishes in the year. Amit entered the team with Omega and Akshat after both players suggested that they had enough synergy with the coach and wanted to continue their BGMI competitive journey under his guidance.
In 2023, the team added Neyoo to make the team stronger. However, the youngest talent in the team failed to live up to expectations. While he took crucial frags for his teams, the whole team failed to deliver results as a whole.
