Ubisoft has said in a Reddit AMA that it has no plans on releasing downloadable content (DLC) for Assassin's Creed Mirage, the next entry in the long-running action-adventure series. This is in line with what the developer has said previously about the game. Mirage has been conceived as a callback to the classic mechanics seen in many of the original entries in the franchise. So, Ubissoft's decision also means that the game with the AC franchise won’t have any additional story content at launch.
Ubisoft Bordeaux’s Stéphane Boudon answered a query in the Reddit AMA with the Assassin’s Creed Mirage team. “For now, Mirage has no plan for DLC or extensive post-launch,” he replied.

Ubisoft Teases A Female-Led Assassin's Creed Hexe
Mirage follows Basim Ibn Ishaq, a master Assassin from Constantinople. “We decided to make Mirage a full game in the following weeks after starting working on it,” said Sarah Beaulieu, during the AMA. “The opportunity of working on the city of Baghdad, and on the character of Basim, was too good to be missed!”
Assassin’s Creed Mirage comes to PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One on October 12. Those who pre-order the premium Deluxe Edition or Collector’s Case versions of the game can gain access to an exclusive in-game quest titled The Forty Thieves.
Assassin's Creed Mirage is also quite shorter than Ubisoft's other titles like Assassin's Creed Valhalla, for instance, which took about 60 hours to finish even for mainline players. Assassin's Creed Origins and Odyssey lasted about 30-45 hours.
In related news, a Ubisoft employee has hinted that the Assassin’s Creed Hexe, currently under development, could be a female-led, witch-themed video game. A Ubisoft employee named Yara Tabbara recently shared two job postings on Linkedin for a Groom Artist and Senior Gameplay Animator for Assassin’s Creed Hexe. Interestingly, someone commented that they hoped this game will have a 'strong feminine energy,' and Tabbara claimed it would fulfil those hopes and have many exciting female characters.
