After teasing the game in September 2022 during the Assassin's Creed: 2022 Showcase, Ubisoft will finally do a full reveal of Assassin's Creed Red, aka Assassin's Creed Shadow, on 15 May 2024. The game was first teased under the codename Assassin's Creed Red, and since then, the fans have seen a couple of leaks of the game, including the character art leak in October 2023.
Assassin's Creed Shadow will be the third AC game released over the past year, after Assassin's Creed Mirage and Assassin's Creed Nexus VR. Fans praised Ubisoft for their effort with AC Mirage and appreciated Ubisoft’s leap of faith in the VR world.

Assassin's Creed Shadow To Be Fully Revealed On Ubisoft’s YouTube Channel On 15 May 2024
Ubisoft is all set to release their latest Assassin's Creed game, which is considered the “biggest blockbuster” of 2024. Today, they revealed the official name of the game by posting, "Assassin's Creed Codename Red becomes Assassin's Creed Shadows." Ubisoft will do a full reveal of the game on their YouTube channel on 15th May at 5 PM BST / 9 AM PT.
Assassin's Creed Shadow is set in Feudal Japan and could feature a dual protagonist in the game, similar to Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Per the character art leak, the game will have a female shinobi who looks like a female assassin and is holding a Katana in her right hand in the leaked artwork. The character also wears a traditional Japanese attire, with a kimono-like robe. The second protagonist could potentially be an African Samurai based on a real-life samurai, Yasuke.
Assassin's Creed Shadow will be the fresh title in its main franchise, focusing excessively on stealth and iconic Assassin's Creed gameplay. To know more about the game, fans will have to wait till 15 May 2024, when Ubisoft will do a full reveal of the game with their “Official Cinematic World Premiere Trailer.” During the reveal, Ubisoft might also release the launch date and start the game preorder sales. It is worth noting that Ubisoft will also host Ubisoft Forward in Los Angeles on 10 June 2024, so Ubisoft might leave out a few details of the game until then.
Till the full reveal, Ubisoft will continue its countdown and host Hourglass puzzles on their social media channels. Fans can crack these puzzles to win exciting prizes from Ubisoft.
