Medal Esports Secures Their Third Victory Of Valorant Challengers South Asia
The day began with the best-of-three series between Medal Esports and MLT Esports. The team entered MLT Esports' map pick of Ascent, with Medal Esports holding a solid defence. MLT Esports found it difficult to penetrate through Medal's defences, resulting in them trailing with a 9-3 scoreline in the first half. The map of Ascent looked like a cakewalk for Medal as they secured four more rounds in the second half to lock in their victory with a 13-4 scoreline.
on the second map of Lotus, MLT Esports had a shaky start, but unlike the first map, they bounced back to give Medal a tough fight. Medal Esports took an 8-4 lead in the first half, followed by MLT making things difficult for Medal in the latter half of the game. Thanks to Medal Esports' early lead, MLT could secure five more rounds in the second half, allowing Medal to win the map with a 13-10 scoreline and win the third match of the season.
For the second match of the day, Grayfox Esports went against Carnival Gaming, starting Grayfox's map pick of Lotus. From the start, Grayfox Esports was ruthless against Carnival, winning 10 rounds in the first half and securing a 10-2 lead. Grayfox continued their spree in the second half and won the map with a dominant 13-2 scoreline.
The teams entered the map of Ascent for the second game of the series. While Carnival Gaming showed resilience after their defeat, they couldn't overpower Grayfox Esports. Grayfox Esports continued their dominance over Carnival and always stayed a step ahead of their opponents, helping them lock in an 8-4 lead in the first half. Carnival Gaming looked helpless as Grayfox decimated them in the second half to win the game with a 13-6 scoreline and secure a 2-0 victory over Carnival Gaming.
