The Valorant Champions 2023 Group Stage ended with China surprising the world and LOUD mounting a major comeback. VCT Champions 2023 Playoffs is also the most balanced event of 2023 in terms of team distribution across different regions.
The Playoffs will feature two teams each from the Pacific, China, North America, and EMEA regions. Aside from being surprised by China’s performance, fans were stunned by the number of EMEA teams making it out of Groups. EMEA featured five of their teams in Champions Los Angeles 2023 out of which only two made it to the Playoffs stage.

VCT Champions Playoffs To Feature Four Teams From Different Regions
Here are the eight teams that will be competing for a shot at Grand Finals in Champions Playoffs 2023 :
- LOUD Esports (AME)
- Evil Geniuses (AME)
- Fnatic (EMEA)
- FUT Esports (EMEA)
- DRX (APAC)
- Paper Rex (APAC)
- Edward Gaming (CN)
- Bilibili Gaming (CN)
Just like their previous tournaments, ZETA Divison had a tough group. They were seeded alongside NRG Esports and the world’s best team, Fnatic. Unfortunately, Pacific fans could not see their LCQ representative win a map in Champions. However, Bilibili Gaming defeated NRG Esports twice in the same group, ultimately paving their way to the Playoffs. This performance from them puts a really good statement in front of the whole world as it hasn’t even been a while since China got its own official server n the game.
On the other hand, most of the EMEA teams fell off in the Group Stage itself. Giants lost to Edward Gaming and were eliminated from the tournament while NAVI lost to defending Champions, LOUD Esports with a 1-2 scoreline. Team Liquid was also eliminated from the tournament after losing to fellow EMEA team NAVI and losing their lower bracket game against LOUD. However, FUT Esports from Group B did secure a ticket to the Playoffs stage by defeating T1 Esports with a 2-0 scoreline.
