Day 3 of VCT EMEA Stage 1 began with a matchup between two teams in opposite trajectories in EMEA. They are none other than FUT Esports and Team Liquid. These two teams faced off during the VCT EMEA League 2023 and the VCT EMEA LCQ last year. During those two matches, Team Liquid won both series with ease. Neither of the two teams made it to VCT Masters Madrid, so a win during this match would take them one first step on their road to VCT Masters Shanghai.
