GTA fans can't wait for GTA 6 and also for fan-favourite Michael De Santa. Ned Luke, the actor who played Michael De Santa in GTA 5, shared a special message for the game's tenth anniversary for GTA fans. The actor urged Rockstar fans to be patient in waiting for GTA 6. To mark GTA 5’s 10th anniversary Luke shared a short video on TikTok, and talked about the franchise.
“We just crossed the threshold of 10 years. 10 years of GTA 5… I just want to give a big shout-out to the fans,” he said. “Only what, maybe five of those years was ‘where the f*** is GTA 6?’ Luke joked. “Patience guys. It’ll be worth the wait. Trust me. GTA 5 was worth the wait, GTA 6 is gonna be even more worth the wait.” Though it's unclear if Luke will be featured in the game in a big way, he isn't the first protagonist to be a part of Rockstar's promotions. A few days ago, GTA 5's Shawn Fonteno who voices Franklin in the game appeared in a cryptic video, stirring rumours about his work in GTA 6.

Michael's Fate Revealed In The Contract Expansion?
Michael has always been a point of interest for players and is often referred to as the main character. He shows up in GTA 5's introduction but is not fully playable until a few missions later. He takes a central role in the introductory mission following which the narrative's focus shifts to Franklin for the next few missions.
The Complications mission is the most crucial in which Michael finally reappears. He forces Franklin to drive him to the dealership after the latter steals Jimmy's BeeJay XL and then beats up Simeon for scamming his son. Those who have played GTA V to the end know that Franklin is visited by Steve Haines and Devin Weston. Haines wants Franklin to kill Trevor while Weston asks him to kill Michael. Besides these two options, Franklin also had the option of teaming up with Michael and Trevor with the help of Lester, to take down their enemies. Ultimately, Franklin chooses Option C.
In 2021, Grand Theft Auto Online confirms that Michael is in fact, alive, in a new expansion called The Contract. In the expansion, players can team up with Franklin who has his own client solutions business in Los Santos. At one point during The Contract, players will need to drive through a movie set to pursue a threat. At one point during the chase, Franklin says that he knows one of the producers which is an apparent reference to Michael, who actually becomes a movie producer towards the end of GTA V (yes, the same studio where Franklin and Co are chasing down the threat). So, it's safe to say he's living the dream, and it's yet to be seen how GTA 6 features him.
