New Xbox plans state that more first-party titles will be brought to rival console platforms, including Hi-Fi Rush. Various sources on the web have confirmed Microsoft's plans. As stated by The Verge's report, the Xbox maker is preparing to launch a select number of Xbox titles for the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. The rumors have been around the internet for about a year now. More recent leaks have shed more light on which titles may arrive first.
Many sources have confirmed that titles like Starfield and the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle may see their respective PlayStation 5 launches soon. However, the first games to reportedly arrive on the rival platforms are Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment.

Many Xbox and PC Exclusive Titles Are Reportedly Set to Arrive on Rival Platforms Soon
Both Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment originally came out on Xbox and PC in February 2023 and November 2022, respectively. Now, a few years after their release, Microsoft is planning to make the games more accessible by releasing them on the PlayStation 5. While these words are not official, more prominent leaks within the industry are reinforcing these statements.
These rumors also gained traction because. last year, another Xbox and PC exclusive title, Sea of Thieves, is also nearing a launch on rival platforms, alongside other first-party titles. Hi-Fi Rush coming to the PlayStation 5 and Switch is not recent news, as many data miners found valid data for its arrival last year.
Microsoft's head of gaming, Phil Spencer commented on game exclusivity, claiming that they will decide on the titles on a "case-by-case basis", judging which games should be made available to their rival platforms, and which games should not. That said, these statements did not include any dates and confirmations for games. Microsoft has also announced they will offer an Xbox business update on February 15, 2024. Gamers across the globe are speculating they'll hear more about the exclusivity of the game as many want to learn about the future of Microsoft-exclusive games on non-Xbox platforms.
Interested viewers can catch the update live with Phil Spencer, Xbox President Sarah Bond, and Matt Booty as they possibly discuss the future of Xbox exclusivity. The show will commence on February 15, 2024, Thursday at 12 pm PT / 3 pm RT / 8 pm GMT on the official Xbox YouTube handle.
