During a series of live sessions on Instagram and YouTube, SaggY, who has become the face of recent controversy alleged that Nodwin Gaming went back on their word and he is now disqualified from the upcoming BGMI LAN event.
The convicted hacker alleged that Nodwin Gaming caved under the pressure of big Esports organisations and didn't want their event to get spoiled, taking the call to disqualify SaggY.
SaggY Alleges Nodwin Caved Under Pressure To Disqualify Him
In the YouTube live stream, SaggY, who was live with a few other people in the community, were discussing everything that happened in the last 18 months.
On one hand, SaggY alleged that he was getting all the support from Nodwin for BGMS 2 before they unexpectedly backed out. He further added that he also gave them the option to disqualify him and let his team continue. He said:
"I asked them if they will let my team play because they haven't hacked, but I haven't gotten a positive response on that. Nodwin had a lot of pressure from all the top teams in the country as those guys said they didn't want to play with a hacker."
It is now being rumoured that Nodwin Gaming will be conducting the matches for this group again and a few teams have been disqualified. For now, there is no intel from Nodwin's side, and more details will be revealed once Nodwin makes an official announcement.
Nodwin Gaming released a statement saying that there is no official list of teams participating in the BGMS 2 LAN, and people should not believe any of the lists that are being circulated online.
The BGMS 2 LAN event is going to start on August 4, 2023, with 24 teams competing for the lion's share of a 2.10 crore prize pool. This LAN event will be broadcasted on Star Sports.
