Everything We Know About the Lenovo Legion GO So Far
Windows Report recently published the first few official Lenovo Legion Go handheld console images. By looking at the device, one can tell that Lenovo worked hard on making an exceptionally ergonomic handheld device. Three tech giants, including Valve and Asus, currently dominate the handheld industry. While the AYANEO's console is much more affordable than the other two, it shares its respective downsides.
When looking at the Lenovo Legion Go, you cannot immediately set it apart from its competitors. However, you will quickly notice its ergonomic settings and vibrant display that shares a neat touch with the PC. With all that being said, it is yet to be seen how much accessibility Lenovo will offer upon its launch. When looking at the Steam Deck, users are offered many options to browse regarding both games and accessibility. On the other hand, Ally is a bit restrictive regarding its kernel-level security. Legion Go may follow the same route one can assume.
Many fans are speculating the Legion Go display to be touchscreen, which will widely separate the device from the crowd, making it more user-friendly and accessible. Moreover, fans are still concerned about the significant bits regarding the console, mainly the battery life and heating issues, if it will have any. Looking at the leaked images, one quickly realizes that Lenovo Legion Go will be thicker than the ASUS ROG Ally or the AYANEO Air console. Moreover, the controller layout also resembles a mashup of Nintendo Switch and the Steam Deck The Lenovo Legion is expected around late 2023 or early 2024. However, without an official word, it is safe to assume that the launch window may change.
